Configurator Tools Coordinator
Clopay Corporation is North America's largest residential garage door manufacturer. We have an excellent opportunity for a Configurator Tools Coordinator (2 openings) in our Troy, Ohio manufacturing location.
In this position, the successful candidate will perform the following job responsibilities:
- Ensure consistency in the product offering between the Configurator Tools and Clopay’s engineering specifications. Configuration Tools include:
- Home Depot Door Configurator – HDDC
- United States
- Canada English
- Canada French
- United States Mobile
- Door Imagination System
- MyDoor
- English
- French
- Spanish
- CDQ
- QuickDraw
- Hewee (Holmes Brand Configuration Tool)
- WTS (Paradigm)
- Review and track changes within the engineering product specifications and ensure the updates are reflected in the Configuration Tools.
- Compile the necessary data to input the changes into the Configurator Tools in the required format for the data entry specialist.
- Review and track minor changes to engineering product specifications and work with the data entry specialist eo ensure the updates are reflected in the Configuration Tools.
- Coordinate with the business, dealers, Clopay IT, and an offshore consulting firm to ensure the updates and changes are correctly reflecting the configuration tools.
- Work with outside company to communicate product updates to Hewee.
- Ensure the resolution of issues within the Configuration Tools.
- Troubleshoot questions and issues on the tools that may arise from internal team, dealers, or customers.
- Coordinate the programming and release of new products and enhancements to the Configuration Tools.
- Work closely with the Online Configuration Tools Data Entry Specialist and the Online Configurator Tools Manager on other duties as needed.
- Enforce processes and procedures for code and data quality standards.
- Assist in setting priorities based on what is best for Clopay, balancing the specific demands of the Sales and Marketing teams.
- Travel as needed (<10%).
