Job Requirements of Production - Light Carpentry - $18.00 to start:
Qualified candidates must possess a High School diploma, must be able to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to learn requirements for different models of doors.
- Ability to operate and perform minor maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, or decimals.
- Ability to meet production and quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a work team.
- Ability to work at a quick pace, and have previous manufacturing experience.
- Previous carpentry experience required, including working with saws, tape measures, etc.
Equipment Knowledge:
Table Saw, Router, Edger Saw, Circular Saw, CNC, Glue Machine, Sanders, Putty Knife, Drill, and Tape Measure.

Production - Light Carpentry - $18.00 to start

Our employees are the cornerstone of our success and we are looking for dynamic individuals to join our team. We have excellent opportunities at our Troy, Ohio manufacturing plant for candidates with prior carpentry experience.
Starting pay is $18.00/hour plus $1.00 shift differential. After 24 months, pay goes to $24.79/hour.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up, control and operate Canyon Ridge manufacturing and assembly equipment, including cut-off saw, router, shaper, glue machine and packaging.
- Must be able to read and interpret product coding.
- Build doors, prep for painting, apply all labels and wrap.
- Cut out sections for window installation
- Perform quality checks.
