We have an excellent opportunity for a Regional Operations Manager for our West Coast operations.

In this position, the successful candidate will perform the following job responsibilities:

• With assistance from individual Distribution Center Managers, prepare budget of expenses, inventory level planning and staffing requirements to support regional dealer and retail sales needs.

• Provide management direction to Distribution Center Managers and assist in hiring and training Distribution Center personnel.

• Audit performance of Distribution Center operations on a monthly basis to ensure adherence to Company operating procedures and expense guidelines.

• Conduct employee performance evaluations of Distribution Center Managers and recommend changes in compensation.

• Coordinate with National Operations Manager Distribution Center’s and Manage Distribution Center Facilities the selection and start-up of Distribution Centers within the region.

• Manage Distribution Center automation system to fullest operational efficiency with respect to order entry and inventory asset management controls.

• Manage regional product replenishment program to achieve high service level, planned inventory turns and minimize slow moving inventory. Reconcile all regional physical inventory adjustments in conjunction with Cost Accounting.

• Report monthly inventory control, expenses, and operational updates to Regional Manager and National Operations Manager Distribution Centers.

• Monitor furnish and install programs in each Distribution Center facility in their Region.

• Coordinate programs between Distribution Center Managers and Regional Managers, involving advertising and promotion media, mailed from or used in individual Distribution Center locations to improve productivity.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Minimum of 5 years’ of warehouse operations experience, with quantifiable success in the areas of safety, inventory management, and productivity improvements.

• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
