We have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer in our Goodyear, Arizona manufacturing location.

Summary:

Develop and improve the efficiency of our quality processes that integrate workers, machines, materials, information, and new technology.

 Responsibilities/Principal Duties:

  • Lead and participate in key quality projects, including:  regulatory site assessments, in-depth root cause analysis, corrective action and other quality assurance methodologies.  Will lead and assist others in identifying improvements and eliminating non-value added activities within our process to maximize quality.
  • Support new product development initiatives to include; process design, optimization & control.  Generate documentation to support new product development and continuous improvement.
  • Will develop work instructions, standards and measurements for manufactured products.
  • Develop & track quality metrics and identify emerging trends before they reach critical level.
  • Serve as an internal auditor.
  • Will demonstrate excellent leadership qualities at all times when interacting with coworkers.
  • Cooperates will all departments to assure seamless integration of "best practices" into the creation of best products.
  • Assure customer concerns are addressed in a timely manner and that formal corrective actions are implemented as necessary.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing facility (ideally ISO9001 certified environment).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Prefer knowledge of process flow charting/mapping, FMEA, DOE, Process Control Plans, SPC, Lean/Six Sigma principles.
  • Metal manufacturing experience preferred.
