We have an excellent opportunity for an Engineer I in our Mountain Top, PA facility.


The Engineer I is responsible for the achievement of the qualitative and quantitative objectives of the Design Engineering department.  The engineer will design, test and implement modifications to existing products and will maintain and support current product lines.

 Responsibilities/Principal Duties:

  • Assist in development of extending products and product variations as requested.  This includes project feasibility evaluation, product design, parts and material selection, and incorporation of new design into current engineering standards.
  • Assist in maintaining accuracy and completeness of current parts and assembly drawings.  This includes changes due to manufacturing process, materials, and quality and information improvements.
  • Assist in evaluating and correcting quality problems associated with basic product designs.  Review quality reports and actively pursue problems with product design and with information on parts drawings or engineering books.
  • Design of custom parts and assemblies for special jobs or repairs.
  • Respond to special requests, delegated design, and assist with custom application where applicable.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
  • Minimum of three years experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • PE license highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor, release beyond 2013.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, etc. is essential.
